Many people misinterpret the Gospel reading we talked about yesterday. They make it all about Peter’s faith and turn that into saying you should have faith like Peter. But Peter didn’t have faith that the next net cast would wield any fish at all. This Gospel isn’t about Peter, it’s about Christ, just like in our faith it’s not about what you do that merits favor with God it’s what Christ did on the cross for you.
