Happy Altar Guild Day! Today’s reading talks about the women (Joanna, Mary, Salome) and Nicodemus who went to the tomb early on the first day of the week. They’re goal was to care for what they believed to be Christ’s dead body, but the tomb’s stone has already been rolled away and Christ has risen! These people give us an insight into how it means to serve the Lord in His altar guild and to prepare for the Lord’s feast every Sunday.
